Business Case

In 2018, when I first joined the team at J.P. Morgan Chase, the company was competing with FinTech disruptors for the first time. Robinhood had just launched in 2015, and not only was their product widely accessible and free, it was the first ever mobile-first brokerage in the country. J.P. Morgan Chase was seriously investing in digital product design (hence why they hired me!) and my new team was focused on pushing the bank into the new digital landscape. The Investment Positions page was the most visited page on the site. It needed to be reconfigured as a mobile-first design, and the sprawling details needed to be cleaned up, consolidated and modernized.
